Amateur Fencing Skills Program

The fencing skills program is a structured program that recognizes fencers for developing and being able to apply the skills and knowledge needed to be successful competitors in the club and in amateur competition.  This is a 5 level program based on meeting specific goals in terms of level of competitive fencing, ability to serve as an official, and ability to assist in the development of new fencers.

be able to serve as a demonstrator for Level 1 skills 2 (Blue)
prepared to compete routinely as individual competitor or as team member in USFA competitions be able to referee club tournaments be able to serve as instructional aide and drill leader 3 (Bronze)
prepared to fence effectively in the elimination rounds in USFA competitions be able to seed pools and serve as bout committee member for club tournaments be able to assist in instructing groups  in Level 1 and 2 skills 4 (Silver)
prepared to place at USFA competitions and earn classification earn qualification as a USFA referee be able to assist in instructing groups in Level 1, 2, and 3 skills 5 (Gold)
