Conduct of instructors in the Salle is governed by the appropriate codes of ethics. Each instructor, including those in training to become instructors, is expected to abide by the appropriate code of ethics both in the letter and the spirit of the code.
Fencing coaches at all ranks, Assistant Moniteurs, Moniteurs, Prevots, and Maitre d'Armes are required to abide by the Code of Ethics of the United States Olympic Committee as adopted by the United States Fencing Coaches Association.
Classical fencing coaches at all ranks, Apprentice Instructors, Classical Demonstrators, Classical Instructors, Classical Provosts, and Classical Fencing Masters are required to abide by the Code of Ethics of the Classical Academy of Arms.
Instructors in Cane and martial arts weapons are required to abide by the Professional Martial Artist Code of Ethics of the Martial Arts Teachers' Association.
As a business, the Salle meets, and is committed to continuing to meet the Accredited Business Standards of the Better Business Bureau of Central Virginia, Inc.
