Schedule and Fees

BEGINNERS CLASSES

Our Primary Course for new fencers consists of 4 one hour sessions designed as an introduction to the sport.  During the first lesson the beginner will choose which weapon (foil, epee, or sabre) he or she wishes to start to learn, and all instruction is done in that weapon.  The Primary Course can start at any time at your convenience, and is designed for one-on-one or small group instruction.  The fee for the four session Primary Course, including use of all equipment required, is $75.

CLASS SCHEDULE BY DAY

With the exception of Open Fencing on Sunday all classes last for one hour.  The standard class format is a 10-15 minute warm-up, approximately 20-25 minutes of instruction, 15-20 minutes of bouting in a structured pool environment with each fencer fencing all other members of the pool, and a 5 minute debriefing and closing activity.
