2010 US Fencing Academic All Americans First Team

Brett Colbert (shown here on the right with Maitre d'Armes Walter Green) is a student at Atlee High School.  He was one of three Virginia high school fencers to earn First Team honors (academic average between 3.85 and 4.0), one of five to earn any level of Academic All American, and the only fencer from the Richmond metropolitan area to qualify for the award.  The Fencing Academic All Americans is a program of the United States Fencing Association to identify and honor high school scholar-athletes.
